Missouri Valley Community School District Superintendent Christi Gochenour has confirmed that a teacher previously placed on administrative leave amid allegations involving a student has returned to the school.
The confirmation came on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in response to an open records request submitted by Missouri Valley Voices on September 18, 2026.
According to Gochenour, citing information provided by the district’s legal counsel, Ahlers & Cooney, the teacher was placed on paid administrative leave from August 25, 2026, through October 20, 2026.
