About Missouri Valley Voices

When our family moved to Missouri Valley in April 2024 from Omaha, we quickly fell in love with this community. From the library and the parks to the friendly faces and the sense of neighborly support, Missouri Valley immediately felt like home. Our middle-school son jumped right in—joining sports, starting a small landscaping business, and learning new skills from local veterans who have shared their time and experience so generously.

At the same time, we noticed an opportunity for greater transparency and accountability within city operations. That realization inspired the creation of Missouri Valley Voices—a citizen-led initiative focused on keeping residents informed, engaged, and connected.

Our goal is to empower the community by providing clear, factual information about what’s happening in and around Missouri Valley. We encourage active participation in City Council meetings and community discussions, helping residents understand how local decisions affect our daily lives.

This website also serves as a public record of the projects I’m personally working on—complete with supporting documents, research, and updates—so that everyone can see, in real time, the efforts underway and the goals being pursued. By sharing both the process and the progress, Missouri Valley Voices aims to model openness and inspire others to get involved in shaping the future of our town.
